New Jersey’s wine country stretches well beyond any one vineyard. On Saturday, November 7, wine lovers will have an opportunity to explore much of it in one place when the third annual NJ Wine Expo returns to Bell Works in Holmdel.

Presented by the Garden State Wine Growers Association, the expo will bring wineries and vineyards from across New Jersey to the Bell Works Ballroom for an afternoon of tastings, conversations with winemakers and introductions to the state’s growing range of wines. Organizers are advertising samples from more than 130 hand-selected New Jersey wines, with options for enthusiasts who know their favorite varieties as well as visitors who are still figuring out what they like.

There is a larger story behind the tasting tables. New Jersey wineries span different landscapes, growing conditions and approaches to winemaking, but visiting them individually can mean a long series of drives. The expo gives attendees a chance to compare producers side by side, ask questions and discover destinations for a future winery outing.

The event enters its third year with momentum from 2025. According to the association’s November 24 recap, more than 1,300 people attended the second annual expo at Bell Works on November 15, 2025, where more than 130 New Jersey wines were poured. The association described an audience interested not only in tasting wine but also in learning more about the growers and producers behind it.

The 2026 participating-winery list already includes Alba Vineyard, Autumn Lake Winery, Cream Ridge Winery, Unionville Vineyard, Valenzano Winery, White Horse Winery, Villari Vineyards and Angelico Winery, among others. The organizer says the full 2026 wine list is still forthcoming, giving returning visitors another reason to check the lineup ahead of the event.

Food will also be available for purchase, with announced vendors including MozzaBella Gourmet Cart, G’Day Gourmet, Beastro, Blake’s Chocolates and Hoffman Bread. Their offerings range from charcuterie and savory meals to chocolates and baked goods. Food is not included in the ticket price.

The expo offers VIP early access from noon to 2 p.m. and general admission from 2 to 5 p.m. Early-access admission includes the opportunity to meet winemakers and industry leaders, wine tastings, a souvenir wine glass and a six-bottle wine bag. General admission includes tastings and a souvenir wine glass.

General-admission tickets are listed at $38.10 through Thursday, November 5. Tickets will cost $45 on the day of the expo if any remain, while advance early-access ticket sales close at 11:59 p.m. November 5. Designated-driver tickets are listed at $10, available at the door for cash only. Attendance is limited to adults 21 and older, and tasting service ends at 4:45 p.m.

For anyone who has been curious about the Garden State’s wine scene but unsure where to start, the expo offers a useful first step: an afternoon of discovery that may turn into a much longer list of New Jersey wineries worth visiting.
