AMC Sensory Friendly Films
AMC and the Autism Society turn the lights up and the sound down so guests can get up, dance, walk, shout, or sing. Family-friendly screenings run the second and fourth Saturday of each month, with mature-audience screenings on Wednesday evenings. Films start at showtime with no trailers.
- National program · Play and family fun centers Build-A-Bear Workshop Sensory-Friendly Time Every Tuesday during the first hour a store is open, Build-A-Bear Workshops dim the lights and turn the music low or off. A downloadable step-by-step guide helps kids plan the visit. All ages and siblings are welcome.
- National program · Play and family fun centers Chuck E. Cheese Sensory Sensitive Sundays Participating Chuck E. Cheese locations open two hours early on the first Sunday of each month with dimmed lights, reduced sound, no flashing effects, and trained staff. On October 25, 2026, stores also hold a Sensory Sensitive Halloween with costumes, candy, and characters without the usual triggers. No reservation required.
