- Costume and theme Boo & Brew 5K A Halloween costume 5K that starts and finishes at Catherine Rooney's pub on Delaware Avenue.
- Costume and theme Seawitch Fall Classic Racing Festival (5K Classic, 1M Fright Walk & Half Classic) Rehoboth's Sea Witch Halloween weekend running festival: a costume half marathon in Cape Henlopen State Park Saturday and a 36-year 5K with a parade of costumes Sunday.
- Iconic tradition Newark Turkey Trot 10K / 5K Billed as Delaware's oldest consecutive road race, now in its 54th year, with an option to run both the 10K and 5K.
- Holiday and seasonal Rudolph's Run 5K (Motorcycle Santa 5K) The race is run by a motorcycle Santa charity, starts at an Irish pub and runs along the Brandywine.
