- Animals Hobo's Healing Heart 0.5K Trifecta A tongue-in-cheek series of 0.5K 'races' around Black Hills breweries, run with your dog, with a free pint at the finish.
- Holiday and seasonal Lucky 7's A St. Patrick's triple—5 miles, 5K and a 1-mile into Falls Park—capped by Sioux Falls' People's Parade, with a shamrock medal for doing all three.
- Novelty course Mount Rushmore Half Marathon A half marathon on the closed, switchbacking Iron Mountain Road with framed views of Mount Rushmore.
- Novelty course Palace City Kiwanis Half Marathon, 10K & 5K (The A-MAIZE-ing Race) A fall race that starts and finishes at the World's Only Corn Palace, its facade covered in corn murals.
- Color, glow and night YAA Color Run An arts council color run on the Missouri River in Riverside Park, below Yankton's historic Meridian Bridge.
